WHISKEY & SIN

An Omegaverse Novel

Run.

In a world where unbonded omegas are worth their weight in gold, running is the only thing Silas Wright knows. Run from the criminal alpha pack hunting him. Run from the dark secrets haunting his nightmares. Run from himself.

Stumbling in the dark down a twisting mountain road, Silas is on the run when a stranger comes crashing into his life. This alpha is dangerous, but Silas is out of options. Forced to accept help, Silas finds himself holed up in a lonely mountain cabin, unable to flee the unquiet of his mind. Cornered and desperate, Silas must quickly decide: can I trust this alpha? Can I let him know my secret?

“My handsome rescuer may be an alpha…but I am no beta.”

WHISKEY & SIN is a standalone MM Omegaverse novel.

Tags: tattooed alpha, sensitive beta, male/male romance, small town romance, sad boy fall vibes, if Chris Stapleton’s Traveller album was a novel, cabin in the woods, forced proximity, queer boys mutually pining, knotting, omega heat, mine, I can’t express how I feel so let’s stare into each other’s eyes instead, we’ve both got a lot of trauma so let’s unpack it together

Content Warnings: There are multiple dark themes discussed in this book, including: human trafficking, sex trafficking, forced prostitution, and forced drug use. In all scenes featuring sex trafficking and forced prostitution, trauma is vaguely described, never shown in detail on the page. There is one scene of flashback where the focus is less on the active trauma of the SA and more about a secondary crime being witnessed at the same time. A character suffers from PTSD and experiences several active symptoms including heightened startle response, fear of physical touch, nightmares, depression/numbness, suicidal thoughts, and memory loss/confusion.

Other warnings include use of firearms; cinematic violence (a deadly car crash, gunshot wounds, blood, death); nonprescription drug use; grief/loss; parent death (off page); vomiting (no description); detailed sex scenes featuring knotting and toys. At its heart, this book is about healing and survival. There is hope in this book. There is joy and peace and—ultimately—happiness. You will get a happily ever after.
